Follow Regulatory watch

Review detected BIR issuances and distinguish a new source from a released change to Mendiola's rules.

In this guide

Admins find Regulatory watch in firm Settings. It lists BIR issuances detected by the watch task, along with their source link and shared review status.

Read a detected issuance

  1. Open Settings → Regulatory watch.
  2. Read the issuance type, number, and title.
  3. Open the linked source when available.
  4. Check whether the shared status is new or reviewed.
  5. Compare the rule set's displayed version and current-as-of date with the workflow you are relying on.

The watch is scheduled twice weekly, on Monday and Thursday. An empty list means no issuances have been recorded there; it does not establish that there have been no legal changes.

Detection is not a rule release

A new PDF does not automatically change the invoice engine. A source needs review, a supported rule update where appropriate, and a product release. Likewise, a reviewed status does not promise that every workflow implements the issuance.

The platform owner maintains the shared review status. Firm admins can read the watch, but being a firm admin does not grant the platform review action.

Where to inspect the applied rule

Open the relevant built-in skill in Firm brain for the rule viewer and citations where provided. A file or report's own result is the place to inspect the rules and evidence used for that work.

If you believe an issuance affects a result, give the operator its number, source, and the affected workflow. Do not rewrite a client fact to compensate for a rule that needs review.
